The meme above describes what I would love to see from our community. By the way, how do you like my memes? Or should we do more quotes? Here's one: "The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members." - Coretta Scott King

As a founder of a startup, your first priority should be ensuring that you have a viable idea. The easiest way to gauge this is by seeking feedback from others. The same principle applies to my newsletter, Rocket Network. Last week, I sent out my first newsletter, which covered the best startup events in Houston. My goal is to bring the startup community together to collaborate, network, and accelerate growth. The response has been overwhelming, with close to 1000 LinkedIn subscribers and numerous compliments.

While there have been a few naysayers who claim that someone else is already covering similar content, let me assure you that Rocket Network is unique. There is a ton of information out there about established founders and large events, but very little is being said about the underdogs and those who are grinding it out day after day to solve problems. And that's where Rocket Network comes in. This newsletter is my MVP, and it aims to cover what's happening from my perspective. But the main differentiator and the real magic maker is our "community ask." This is where you, the community, can step up and make a difference by taking action to help startups and everyone in the community succeed.

Following the success of our first issue, your enthusiastic response has motivated me to continue pushing the boundaries. We're only at the beginning of our journey, which is why we're excited to announce a grand launch party and giveaway that will be exclusively available to our valued email subscribers. Don't risk missing out on this exciting opportunity - be sure to subscribe now at https://rocketnetwork.beehiiv.com/.

NOW, LET’S ROCKET NETWORK!

You might already know what’s up but since we are new I will be leaving some emojis that might help our new subscribers navigate through the list of events.
